Meet Allison Genovese
Director of Pickleball, The Club 315
Allison Genovese is the driving force behind the programming at The Club 315. As our Director of Pickleball, she works behind the scenes to bring thoughtful, exciting, and innovative pickleball experiences to life for players across Calgary.
Allison is deeply passionate about creating programming that welcomes all levels—from juniors and brand-new beginners to developing intermediates and elite high-performance athletes. Her mission is to build pathways that support learning, growth, and belonging for every player who walks through our doors.
Allison is dedicated to growing the sport for juniors. She believes wholeheartedly in not only introducing youth to pickleball, but also in creating an environment where they can develop real skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging in a sport that can stay with them for life. She is committed to building exciting pathways for junior athletes, bringing together the highest-performing juniors to train as a cohort, while also developing new young players so the next generation grows together.
Her love for introducing both beginners and juniors to the sport is what inspired her to become a pickleball instructor. Today, Allison is an NCCP-certified coach, committed to safe sport principles and to fostering a vibrant, supportive pickleball community.
As a competitor herself, Allison brings firsthand experience to her coaching and program development. She has medaled in several 4.5+ level events, including capturing Silver at the 4.5+ Provincials this past summer. Her competitive spirit, strategic understanding of the game, and lived player experience shape the high-quality programming offered at The Club 315.
Her goal is simple: to help players fall in love with pickleball, grow their skills, and feel part of a thriving community—no matter their age, level, or background.
